6. When playing windows exe files, added through desktop mode MAKE SURE YOU USE THE EXACTfile location, because some games will crash or just not open when you use them (FinalFatality)
7. also when using windows exe files, make sure to have around 3 versions of proton installed, basically the last 3, (including experimental) and force the games to use those in desktop mode, and there's also a way to do it in gaming mode as well (This is what i had to do, and just test which proton worked.)
8. Use Bottles instead of directly launching windows exes from desktop mode. Makes it easier for game mode. (And just generate a desktop shortcut to add to steam) (CobaltChris)
