- When playing windows exe files, added through desktop mode MAKE SURE YOU USE THE EXACTfile location, because some games will crash or just not open when you use them (FinalFatality)
- also when using windows exe files, make sure to have around 3 versions of proton installed, basically the last 3, (including experimental) and force the games to use those in desktop mode, and there's also a way to do it in gaming mode as well (This is what i had to do, and just test which proton worked.)
- Use Bottles instead of directly launching windows exes from desktop mode. Makes it easier for game mode. (And just generate a desktop shortcut to add to steam) (CobaltChris)
