How to start sharing your Games from your PC to your Steam Deck

Local network game transfers allow Steam users to quickly and efficiently share game installation and update files between multiple PCs on the same local area network. This eliminates the need for downloading and installing files from an internet content server, thus reducing internet traffic and speeding up the installation/update process.

For example, if a game is installed on one PC, then the other PC or Steam Deck is on the same local network can transfer the content directly without downloading it. This transfer process can reach speeds of up to 100MB/sec, although it may generate some additional CPU and disk load on the PC sending the content, so it's best to avoid running intensive tasks on that machine during the transfer.
