Editorial policy

Here's how coverage on this site actually gets made, and what money or free hardware can and can't buy.

AI helps with drafts. A person publishes everything. Some articles - news breakdowns, for example - start from an AI-assisted draft built only from the cited sources it was given; product write-ups pull only from facts we actually have and never invent a score, a sales number, or an award. Nothing goes live until a person has read it, checked it, and decided to publish it. An AI-assisted draft is a starting point, not a finished article.

We accept review copies of games and hardware units for testing. When we do, the piece says so - that's disclosed, not left out of the page. Sending us a copy or a unit does not buy coverage: we don't guarantee we'll cover anything, and we don't run paid reviews or accept payment for coverage of any kind. A vendor gets an honest look, nothing more and nothing less.

We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it and note the change on the piece - what changed and roughly when. We're not going to quietly edit a number and pretend it was always right. If you spot something wrong, use the contact form and tell us.
