Absolum is a side-scrolling beat 'em up from DotEmu that blends classic arcade-style combat with modern roguelite elements, set in the original fantasy world of Talamh.
Absolum is developed and published by DotEmu, a studio known for its work on side-scrolling beat 'em ups. The game combines fast, arcade-inspired combat with roguelite mechanics, aiming to capture the feel of classic fantasy brawlers while introducing a new original setting called Talamh.
The game is designed as an immersive adventure that layers modern roguelite structure over traditional beat 'em up action, giving players a mix of familiar arcade combat and evolving run-based progression.
Absolum is set to release on October 9, 2025, and will be available on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
