Active Matter

Active Matter is a shooter developed and published by Gaijin Entertainment, set for release on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

Players take on the role of an operative trapped in a time loop, repeatedly revived at the same point after death. Entering quantum unstable zones filled with active matter, a substance able to warp and tear space and time, operatives must choose their loadout before heading in.

Combat pits players against rivals from other timelines while navigating physics-breaking anomalies within the zone. The core loop involves harvesting active matter and gathering loot, then extracting to safety before the unstable zone collapses entirely, taking everything inside it along.
