Aion 2

Aion 2 is a role-playing game developed and published by NCSOFT for PC and mobile platforms, scheduled for release on November 18, 2025. The story takes place 200 years after the original Aion: The Tower of Eternity, and the once-opposing factions, Elyos and Asmodians, are no longer divided, letting players choose freely whether to invade or defend.

A key feature is the introduction of dimensional cracks, which enable large-scale PvP battles between players from different servers. Signature series elements like wings and gliding return, but with fewer restrictions than before, as NCSOFT aims to integrate gliding directly into combat for a more three-dimensional battle experience.

NCSOFT also states that Aion 2 removes traditional class segmentation, allowing players to wield different weapons without restriction and shape their own playstyle. The developer describes this as part of a new battle system not present in the original Aion.
