Avowed

Avowed is a first-person fantasy action RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios, set in the world of Eora first introduced in the Pillars of Eternity franchise.

Players explore the Living Lands, an island of varied environments and ecosystems that seems to call out for help. Combat mixes swords, spells, guns, and shields, letting players trap, freeze, or burn enemies with magic, bash foes with a shield, or strike from range with bows.

A cast of companions, from a former mercenary to an eccentric wizard, join the journey with their own abilities and quests, with player choices shaping their paths along the way.

Avowed releases February 18, 2025, for Xbox, PC, and PlayStation.
