Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus

Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus is a hand-drawn 2D Metroidvania set in a colorful world steeped in Japanese folklore. Players take on the role of a tiny fox spirit, born from a lotus blossom and blessed by the moon god, as it explores a richly illustrated, dreamlike land.

Movement is central to the experience: the fox wields a legendary bō staff to bounce and flow through environments, offering both graceful traversal for skilled players and a chaotic scramble for footing when things go wrong. The game's tight movement and reset systems are designed to reward efficient, fluid navigation through its demonic east Asian-inspired settings.
