Baby Steps

Baby Steps casts you as Nate, a man with nothing going for him who stumbles onto an unlikely power: the ability to put one foot in front of the other. The game turns that simple act into its central mechanic, asking players to place each footstep themselves as they hike through a world shrouded in mist.

Built on original physics-based gameplay from the team behind Ape Out and Getting Over It, Baby Steps rewards patience and careful movement over speed. Progress comes step by step, with the terrain and Nate's own unsteady body working against easy shortcuts.

Along the way, players can take in the scenery, encounter local fauna, and follow Nate's aimless search for meaning as he makes his way across the mountains.
