Death Stranding 2: On the Beach

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PC and PlayStation, releasing June 26, 2025.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world beset by otherworldly creatures, the game follows retired porter Sam Porter Bridges as he crosses the open worlds of Mexico and Australia, reconnecting isolated survivors to the Chiral Network.

Gameplay centers on delivering packages over difficult terrain, managing cargo weight, and constructing infrastructure such as roads and monorails while contending with natural disasters. Combat plays a larger role than in the original, offering lethal and non-lethal methods alongside stealth options.

The game also includes asynchronous online features that let players build structures other players can see and use in their own playthroughs.
