Diplomacy is Not an Option puts players in the role of a medieval feudal lord tasked with running a growing settlement. Day-to-day rule means juggling city management and economic development while trying to keep a fragile domain functioning.

That routine doesn't last long, as hordes of hostile enemies, monster swarms, and uprisings from unhappy peasants regularly threaten to tear the settlement apart. Balancing construction and economy with active defense sits at the core of the experience.
