Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a role-playing game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts, available on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation as of October 31, 2024.

Players take on the role of Rook, Dragon Age's newest hero, choosing from different races, backstories, and a customizable appearance to shape their journey.

Combat centers on three classes—Warrior, Mage, and Rogue—each offering two distinct weapon types and unique abilities that can be swapped mid-fight. Players combine fast-paced attacks, parries, and dodges with a companion ability wheel to exploit enemy weaknesses and chain together combat combos.

The game features several factions that can serve as allies throughout the story. Choosing a faction influences Rook's backstory, available conversation options, and other elements of the narrative.
