Dune: Awakening

Dune: Awakening is an open-world survival MMO set on the desert planet Arrakis. Players build a custom character and must contend with the harsh realities of the planet, managing thirst, maintaining stillsuits, and navigating hazards like sandstorms, extreme heat, and roaming sandworms.

Survival depends on scavenging resources, crafting equipment, and building shelters, all while competing with other players to harvest and transport the valuable spice. Progression moves players from basic survival through guild leadership and into large-scale faction warfare between House Atreides and House Harkonnen.

The game combines PvE and PvP zones, including a Deep Desert area that is reshaped weekly by Coriolis storms, keeping the map in flux. Dune: Awakening is developed and published by Funcom and is set to release on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
