Exodus is a retro-style galaxy colonization simulator from Artex Software, re-releasing a 1990s title with enhancements for turn-based tactical battles, diplomacy, and empire management.
Exodus is a simulator that drops players into a foreign galaxy populated by alien empires. The goal is to colonize planets, develop their surfaces, and defend them against alien computer-controlled enemies.
Gameplay combines turn-based tactical battles with diplomacy and spy operations. Players can hire officers for different fields of expertise, invest in scientific research to unlock new inventions, and equip their flagship while expanding a fleet of warships, transporters, and scouts.
This release is a re-release of a 1990s game featuring several enhancements and new features. Players can choose from different goals at the start of the game, along with multiple difficulty levels and other configuration options.
Exodus is developed and published by Artex Software, and is available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
