Grounded 2 is an open-world survival RPG from Obsidian Entertainment that sends players back to a shrunken-down world, now bigger and stranger than before.
Grounded 2 is a role-playing survival adventure developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios, available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
Players find themselves shrunk once again, this time facing an even larger open world to explore. The game can be played solo or in co-op, with survival mechanics at its core: crafting weapons and armor, building and upgrading a base, and traveling across the sprawling backyard-turned-playground using a buggy.
Something unfamiliar and unsettling lurks in this environment, adding an air of mystery and danger to the survival experience as players uncover what has changed since they were last there.
Grounded 2 is set to release on July 29, 2025.
