Outward 2 is an upcoming survival action RPG for PC from Nine Dots Studio, emphasizing grounded, unforgiving adventure without hand-holding.
Outward 2 is a role-playing game in development by Nine Dots Studio and published by Nine Dots Publishing, currently planned for PC.
The game builds on a challenging action RPG formula with survival elements, aiming for a believable and relatable experience rather than power fantasy. There are no leveled encounters and no divine gifts to make players tower over enemies.
Instead, the focus is on practical survival: eating meals, checking maps, and managing a backpack as part of a fulfilling adventure.
A release date of December 31, 2027 has been listed for the PC platform.
