Palworld

Palworld sets players loose on the Palpagos Islands, an open world built around survival mechanics like crafting and base-building. At the center of the experience is the ability to capture and tame animal-like creatures called Pals, which can serve as combat partners, mounts, or workers who help run and maintain a player's base.

The game folds firearms and combat directly into its creature-taming systems, giving it a distinct edge over more traditional monster-collecting formulas. Its tone leans into darker, satirical elements, setting it apart within the genre.
