Pokémon Legends: Z-A is an upcoming role-playing game from Game Freak and Nintendo, set entirely within Lumiose City as it undergoes major redevelopment.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A takes players back to Lumiose City, the setting first seen in Pokémon X and Y, now in the midst of an urban redevelopment plan intended to create a city shared by both people and Pokémon.
Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo, this entry continues the Legends line of Pokémon role-playing games, focusing its story and exploration around a single evolving city environment.
The game is scheduled for release on October 16, 2025, exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
