Players control Luca, the host, and Rehm, her uncooperative counterpart, as the two navigate a devastated mega-city torn apart by an interdimensional catastrophe. The pair must learn to coexist to survive, uncovering the truth behind the disaster while exploring an interconnected world of collapsed skyscrapers and abandoned locales like a flooded aquarium.

The game combines hand-drawn, animated characters with hauntingly detailed 3D environments, framing a sci-fi horror narrative told through an engaging cast, each with their own story tied to the aftermath of the catastrophe.

Gameplay centers on tight, fast-paced platforming paired with precise combat inspired by platform fighters. Players balance ground and air attacks, chain combos and juggles against varied enemies and bosses, and unlock weapons and upgrades that open access to previously unreachable areas within the open-ended world.
