SCHiM is a fast-paced 3D platformer where you leap between shadows, avoiding light in a lively, ever-shifting environment.
SCHiM casts players as a shim, a shadow-bound creature that must hop from one shade to the next across a bustling world. Touching the light ends the run, so timing and observation of the environment are essential.
Developed by Ewoud van der Werf and published by PLAYISM, the game builds its platforming challenges directly out of light and animation, creating traversal puzzles unique to its shadow-jumping mechanic.
SCHiM released on July 18, 2024, and is available on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
