Subnautica 2 is an upcoming underwater survival adventure from Unknown Worlds Entertainment, bringing solo or 4-player co-op exploration to a new alien world on PC and Xbox.
Subnautica 2 places players on an all-new alien world covered in water, tasking them with adapting to survive its depths. Players can explore alone or team up with up to three friends in 4-player co-op.
Survival tools include building custom bases and crafting equipment needed to withstand the dangers of the unknown environment. Exploration is central to the experience, as players uncover the mysteries hidden beneath the surface.
Developed and published by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, Subnautica 2 is set for release on PC and Xbox on May 14, 2026.
