Wielders of the Essence

Wielders of the Essence is an indie game developed and published by Lavapotion for PC.

The game combines incremental base-building with horde survival gameplay. Players complete short runs to earn resources, which are then used to construct buildings. These buildings unlock new powers, troops, and spells for future runs.

Progress carries forward even after a run ends in death, allowing players to steadily build up their base and capabilities over time. The developer describes the experience as delightfully chaotic and surprisingly chill.

Wielders of the Essence is set for release on PC on November 5, 2026.
